Rolo Cookies

These are some of my favorite cookies that I usually make at Christmas time. The funny memory we have of the last time we made these cookies is that just as we ran out of rolos, the bowl with the batter in it fell to the floor and broke. We were so glad we had used all we needed.

Rolo Cookies

1 c. sugar

1 c. brown sugar

1 c. butter

2 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. baking soda

2 1/2 c. flour

3/4 c. cocoa

13 oz. bag rolos

sugar for rolling cookies in

Blend sugar, brown sugar and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla to sugar to blend. Sift together flour, cocoa and baking soda. Add flour to sugar. Take a spoonful of cookie dough and wrap it around rolo. Roll into ball so rolo is covered and roll in sugar. Bake at 375 for 7-10 min.
